Zip's Homecoming

It is with great pride, some sadness, and enormous happiness that I can now say all of our puppies are in their forever homes!  It has been six of the most wonderful, crazy, busy, enlightening, enjoyable, and difficult months of our lives.  We look forward to spending time with just the puppies we adopted and to watching the rest of their siblings grow up.

Over Easter we traveled to Nebraska to deliver Zip (formerly Cosette) to her forever family.  The Remmers are our very closest and oldest friends -- our children have grown up together -- and we are so happy that Zip is with them and their older dog, Zeb.  (Zeb was not around for photos, but he is a handsome Australian Shepherd.)  We are getting excellent reports of all going well for the family!!!

A "sister" photo at Northern Illinois University on our way to Nebraska ( L to R -- Elphie, Kendra, Dolly, Meagan, and Zip).

Meagan and Elphie with Allie and Zip -- girl power!!!

My favorite picture!  Allie, being a "typical" girl.

Benjamin will be a great pillow for Zip!!  What a good new brother he is!!

I know Zip is yawning, but it looks like she is laughing.  She adjusted very quickly and very well to her forever family.

Zip with her new family, the Remmers in Nebraska -- Zip is our puppy who moved the furthest away, but we know we will still get to watch her grow up.

Now there are just more girls and puppies to love!!!
